Yes We Can

About 4 hours ago the US congress passed the extensive health care reform.
I haven't posted much about this reform (only a single post yesterday), because I'm not American and this wasn't my fight. But I can still share in the joy and the hope that it brings.

I was going to post my own opinion but I just saw a mail from President Obama (which was sent out to OFA supporters) that sums it all up pretty good:


'For the first time in our nation's history, Congress has passed comprehensive health care reform. America waited a hundred years and fought for decades to reach this moment. Tonight, thanks to you, we are finally here.

Consider the staggering scope of what you have just accomplished:

Because of you, every American will finally be guaranteed high quality, affordable health care coverage.
