Instead of a new informative post about another interesting scientific subject I spent my time redoing the layout of the blog, based on new options made available by Blogger.
Layout
You'll notice a new colour scheme (blue/green instead of bright green/orange) and a less cluttered right-side of the blog.
I've removed most of the gadgets from the blog except for 'Campaigns', blogroll, tag cloud and archive. As far as possible I've made the gadgets smaller in size.
Menu
But more importantly I've added a small menu at the top, which contains links to the static information (about me, about this blog and links).
I hope this new layout will make the blog easier, and consequently more interesting, to read.
